# StakeOut > StakeOut is a free squad tactics game played in the browser, in Spanish and English. You give orders to four soldiers, > your rival does the same, blind, and the server fights out ninety seconds of combat that you both watch: once it starts, > nobody can change anything, so the best plan wins. - The genre: simultaneous-turn tactics (WEGO), as in Frozen Synapse: both sides plan blind, then watch the plans play out together. Here one plan covers the whole battle, and each soldier carries it out with the mind their commander wrote. - How it is played: at the Order Table, tap an objective and the soldier heads for it, then pick how (Assault, Caution or Stalk); launch, watch the battle on a diorama of the map, then read the after-action report and correct the order. - How a battle is won: each objective (the Mill, the Crossroads and the Ford) scores 1 point every 5 seconds for the side that holds it: no enemy standing inside and at least one of its soldiers there neither pinned down nor under enemy fire. Points count ×3 in the last 30 seconds, and the most points at 1:30, or the first to 40, wins. - The squad: four soldiers from five specialties (rifleman, machine gunner, scout, grenadier, medic), no more than two alike, each carrying one item of kit (smoke, grenade, mine, medkit or binoculars); the rifleman, two. - Each soldier thinks with the mind their commander gives them: a state graph ("Advance to the Crossroads … when under fire → take cover"). The intelligence is the player's; the soldiers do what their graph says. No coding is needed: tapping an objective sends a soldier there, the Assault, Caution and Stalk attitudes write the mind for you, and the radio turns an order in your own words into the plan; the Strategy Studio is for fine-tuning arrow by arrow. - Commanders train against the server's bots for free, and fight each other through contracts with credits at stake (every new account starts with 10,000 credits, free); the results build a service record and a rank. Contracts are asynchronous: a commander seals an order on the board and whoever accepts it fights it on the spot, even with its author offline, and the author finds the battle in their reports. - No download and no install, on a phone or a computer: sign up with an email at https://stakeout.verseprojects.com/crear-cuenta?lang=en, which opens the sign-up form, and the first battle is against a training bot. - An AI agent can play for its user: it writes and tests orders and leaves them in the user's Order Library. It never opens or accepts contracts and never touches credits; those are signed by the user at the web. ## Pages - [StakeOut](https://stakeout.verseprojects.com/): the front page, with a real battle between two bots replayed on the board ([English](https://stakeout.verseprojects.com/?lang=en)). - [Tutorial](https://stakeout.verseprojects.com/tutorial): [how a battle is won](https://stakeout.verseprojects.com/tutorial#objetivo), [the squad](https://stakeout.verseprojects.com/tutorial#escuadra), [the orders](https://stakeout.verseprojects.com/tutorial#orden), [the battle](https://stakeout.verseprojects.com/tutorial#batalla), [the report](https://stakeout.verseprojects.com/tutorial#informe), [bots and contracts](https://stakeout.verseprojects.com/tutorial#contratos) ([English](https://stakeout.verseprojects.com/tutorial?lang=en)); every part reads without JavaScript. - [Questions](https://stakeout.verseprojects.com/#preguntas): [what is it](https://stakeout.verseprojects.com/#que-es), [how do you win](https://stakeout.verseprojects.com/#como-se-gana), [how long is a battle](https://stakeout.verseprojects.com/#duracion), [is it free](https://stakeout.verseprojects.com/#gratis), [what if I lose my credits](https://stakeout.verseprojects.com/#sin-creditos), [how do I start](https://stakeout.verseprojects.com/#empezar), [can I play on my phone](https://stakeout.verseprojects.com/#movil), [do I need another player](https://stakeout.verseprojects.com/#otro-jugador), [do we have to be online at the same time](https://stakeout.verseprojects.com/#a-la-vez), [do I need to code](https://stakeout.verseprojects.com/#programar), [is it hard](https://stakeout.verseprojects.com/#dificil), [is it like Frozen Synapse](https://stakeout.verseprojects.com/#frozen-synapse), [can my AI agent play](https://stakeout.verseprojects.com/#agente), [what do you keep about me](https://stakeout.verseprojects.com/#datos) ([English](https://stakeout.verseprojects.com/?lang=en#preguntas)). - [Tips](https://stakeout.verseprojects.com/tutorial#consejos): the tutorial's advice for a first plan ([English](https://stakeout.verseprojects.com/tutorial?lang=en#consejos)). - [Full text](https://stakeout.verseprojects.com/llms-full.txt): the front page, the whole tutorial and the questions in one file, in English and Spanish. - The front page and the tutorial also answer in Markdown: ask for it with `Accept: text/markdown` (add `?lang=en` for English). ## For agents - [Guide for agents](https://stakeout.verseprojects.com/agents.md): rules, map, the graph plan format, edits, tactics, examples. - Agent link: a commander can give their agent one personal address (https://stakeout.verseprojects.com/a/stk_…, made at https://stakeout.verseprojects.com/cuartel/agente). Server card: https://stakeout.verseprojects.com/mcp/server-card; AI catalog: https://stakeout.verseprojects.com/.well-known/ai-catalog.json. `train` and `get_report` draw the battle in the chat for hosts with MCP Apps. - In the browser: the HQ (https://stakeout.verseprojects.com/cuartel) registers the same tools with WebMCP (`document.modelContext`) for the agent built into the browser, using the commander's session. - HTTP: `GET https://stakeout.verseprojects.com/api/agent` lists the tools; `POST https://stakeout.verseprojects.com/api/agent/` with the arguments as JSON, same key. - OpenAPI: https://stakeout.verseprojects.com/openapi.json describes the same HTTP tools (for a custom GPT's Actions in ChatGPT), same key as a bearer token.
